Interior minister discusses with EU ambassador to Libya number of security issues.

Tripoli, 17 November, 2020 - Lana - Commissioned interior minister 'Fathi Bash-Agha' today Tuesday, met with the European ambassador to Libya 'Jose Sabadell' and his accompanied entourage. During the meeting which was held in interior ministry's office in Tripoli, they discussed number of security issues and cooperation in the fields of counter-terrorism and organized crime, as well as discussing training programs which the EU could provide for the ministry to raise the security personnel skills. During the meeting, they also discussed the illegal immigration file and joint cooperation to face the phenomena, and other subject with common interests. The ambassador showed the EU's desire in supporting the NAG interior ministry in the field of countering terrorism and organized crime. At the end of his speech, the ambassador praised the efforts made by the ministry in order to provide security and stability, saying that during his stay in Libya he felt the stability of the security situation. =Lana=
