Ghat October 22, 2020 (LANA) - The Mayor of Ghat municipality, Musa Al-Senussi Al-Mahdi, yesterday paid an inspection visit to Ghat International Airport and its facilities, in preparation for the resumption of civil aviation flights. The dean was accompanied during this visit by a number of members of the municipal council, the director of Ghat security, the head of the international monitoring unit, and the head of the Ghat Civil Safety Authority. The Dean and members of the Municipal Council listened to detailed explanations from the Director of Ghat Airport, Habib Khalil, about the airport administration's preparations and its facilities to receive the first flights during the coming period, and the measures taken to facilitate the work of the teams in charge of work during flights. The Mayor emphasized that the Municipal Council has taken all administrative measures with the competent authorities to resume flights to and from Ghat airport for the service of citizens and to alleviate the suffering of travel. ...(LANA) ...
