NCDC records (957) positive samples of the Coronavirus (697 new + 260 cross infection).

Tripoli, October 21, 2020 (Lana) - The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) issued a daily update of the local epidemic status of the new Coronavirus cases on Monday, October 19, according to statement No. (225), the center received a number of (2824) samples that were distributed among 13 scientific laboratories, and after testing the samples with Real Time PCR technology the results were as follows: - (1867) negative samples. - (957) positive samples (697 new + 260 contracted from other infected people). The Health Communication & Media Committee at the Center explained that it recorded in Tripoli alone 447 new cases, and the number of 86 cases contra ted from other infected people. The Center recorded the recovery of (570) cases, including 494 cases in Tripoli, 4 cases in Ajilat, 10 cases in Surman, 9 cases in Haraba, 20 cases in Nalut, 20 cases in Sabratha, 8 cases in Zawia centre, 5 cases in Gheryan and in Kufra, 11 cases recovered and 6 cases in Wadi Zamzam and Abunjim, and one in Zintan was cured. =Lana=
