Migration has said that migrants in detention centres in Libya are
the most vulnerable to infectious diseases like Covid 19 because of
overcrowding and poor conditions.
In a statement it issued on Saturday, IOM said it had offered
training on infection prevention control IPC and management of Covid
19 infected people to 25 providers at detention centres in Tripoli,
Al Zawiyah, Zwara, and Dhaher Al Jabal to help prevent a spread of
infectious diseases.
IOM also offered, in coordination with the National Disease
Control Centre, practical training to 15 members of the rapid
