Italian Foreign Minister: Resumption of Libyan Military Committee 5+5 is in Necessary.

Rome, 6 October 2020(Lana) Italian Foreign Minister Luidgi Di Maio said his country supported a political solution to the crisis in Libya through UN-led talks between Libyan parties. Di Maio, who took part in the Berlin Conference on Libya via TV link on Monday stressed the importance of keeping the pledges made at the Berlin Conference. He expressed hope that the progress made at Buzniga and Montrou talks between Libyan parties would be boosted by the upcoming Libyan Political Dialogue Forum according the Italian Nova news agency. As for the recent meeting between Libyan representatives at the Egyptian city of Hurghada, Di Maio said there was a need to resume the 5+5 Committee to reach a ceasefire agreement and demilitarized zone in Sirte and Jufra and resumption of oil exports. =Lana=
