Irini and NATO are discussing the progress of implementing the arms embargo on Libya.

Rome, September 15, 2020 (LANA) - The commander of the "Irini"
operation, Admiral Fabio Agostini, discussed with the commander of
the NATO coalition forces, in Naples, "Robert Burke" the progress of
the implementation of the arms embargo to Libya and the prospects for
cooperation between "Irini and NATO".
Agostini had confirmed, in previous statements, that significant
progress had been made in combating arms and oil smuggling to and
from Libya during the three months since the operation began.
He explained to the Greek newspaper "Kaba", that the operation
includes, in addition to ships in the central Mediterranean region,
European air and satellites, indicating that the mission is working
strictly within the Security Council, United Nations and European
Union resolutions.
