Arab League Secretary General Renews Call for Ceasefire in Libya.

Cairo, 4 August 2020(Lana) Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abu Al Ghaith has renewed a call for an establishment of a ceasefire in Libya and reaching a comprehensive agreement to end hostilities in the country and resume UN-sponsored talks. In statement carried by the Italian Nova News Agency, Abu Al Ghaith stress the need for Libyan parties to refrain from military move aimed at escalating the situation, calling for work towards completing negotiations within the Joint Military Committee to put in place arrangements for resolving the Libyan crisis. He reiterated the League's condemnation of repeated violations of the UN-imposed arms embargo in Libya. =Lana=
