Airport Authority: Misurata Airport will open to air traffic next Sunday, at the latest.

Tripoli, July 20, 2020 (LANA) - The Airports Authority announced the
provision of all requirements at Misurata International Airport next
Friday, after which the airport will be examined by the committee
formed from the interests of airports and civil aviation, to
determine its readiness in terms of precautionary requirements and
open the airport to air navigation on Sunday, July 26, at the latest.
According to the administration's statement, operations in
Misurata Airport will be limited to commercial flights only during
the first period for passengers departing for Libya.
According to the statement, a meeting was held yesterday at the
airports headquarters, between the airports authority and the civil
aviation authority in the presence of the heads of the two
departments and the directors of the departments concerned with them,
during which the measures taken by the airports authority to
implement what was mentioned in the Corona Virus Prevention Guide
issued On behalf of the Civil Aviation Authority, it was agreed to
set a deadline to fulfill the required procedures at the airports.
