A meeting for the rehabilitation of Tripoli International Airport.

Tripoli, July 20, 2020 (LANA) - A meeting was held on Sunday at the headquarters of the Authority, which included the Airports Authority, the Transportation Projects Execution Authority, the Civil Aviation Authority and the National Meteorological Center, in the presence of the heads and managers of the relevant departments of the aforementioned authorities. The meeting discussed the identification of important and priority projects that are intended for implementation at Tripoli International Airport during the coming period, which will contribute to the rehabilitation of the airport and its preparation for operation. It was agreed, during the meeting, to form a working group composed of members representing each party to take charge of identifying the targeted projects and stages of implementation and preparing business areas for construction and maintenance projects that need to be implemented as a result of the damage caused to the airport, based on field visits and assessments made by specialists from the parties present at the meeting during the previous period.
