Tunisian Foreign Minister confirms that the Libyan crisis is threatening international security.

Tunisia, July 09, 2020 (Lana) - Tunisian Foreign Minister, Noureddine
El-Rai said that the continued military escalation in Libya threatens
security and peace in the region and the world.
In his speech to the UN Security Council session on Libya yesterday,
"El-Rai" considered that the matter represents a real challenge,
which requires all concerted efforts to reach a permanent and
comprehensive solution to the Libyan crisis in accordance with
internationally agreed frameworks and references.
In his speech, the Tunisian Foreign Minister declared his country's
full support for the Libyan-Libyan solution to the crisis, that Libya
has been going through for years, and his country's willingness to
support and accompany it according to international references,
pointing to what he described as the positive and neutral role that
Tunisia played throughout the crisis and its openness to any
Libyan-Libyan dialogue.
"El-Rai" called for the identification of a new UN envoy, announcing
Tunisia's joining the humanitarian team that emanated from the Libya
conference.
At the end of his speech, the Foreign Minister stressed that
arranging the internal house and achieving comprehensive
reconciliation will enable the Libyans to reach a solution to the
crisis.
