Italy's foreign minister calls on the European bloc to restore security and peace in Libya.

Rome, July 07, 2020 (Lana) - Italian Foreign Minister Luigi de Mayo
called on the European Union to act appropriately on its
responsibilities, in order to restore peace and security in Libya.
"Mayo" said in an interview with an Austrian newspaper: "The
investment of political dialogue is the only tool to reach a
negotiable and lasting solution to the Libyan crisis."
"Mayo" added: "The European Union has already given important signals
in this direction through the" IRINI process, "indicating that it is
convinced that it will contribute significantly in efforts to calm
the atmosphere in Libya, but that work must continue to strengthen
the European presence there.
