UN Mission in Libya: Landmines planted south of Tripoli left dead and wounded, including civilians.

Tripoli, 30.06.2020 - Lana - The United Nations Support Mission in
Libya has stated that, since the end of the fighting on the outskirts
of Tripoli, anti-personnel mines laid in neighborhoods south of
Tripoli have resulted in more than 100 dead and wounded, including a
large number of civilians.
The mission said in a statement: that mines and other explosive
devices inside or in the vicinity of housing have left more than a
hundred civilian casualties and demining crews since the end of the
confrontations beginning of this June, without specifying the number
of dead and wounded.
This statement comes after the Saturday meeting in Rome, which
brought together the Acting UN envoy to Libya, "Stephanie Williams,"
and the head of the National Accord government, "Fayez Al-Sarraj."
