Conference, "Wolfgang Ischinger," said that the European Union should
threaten military intervention in Libya if necessary.

Europe could throw its military weight in the equation for a
ceasefire, adding that diplomacy often remains a mere rhetoric if you
are unable to use the threat of military action as a lever in
international conflicts. .

European Union on July 1, the German politician stressed that the
bloc must speak the language of force to better represent its
interests.

major international conference on Libya in Berlin last January, the
outcome unfortunately until now almost zero, in reference to the
peace summit that witnessed the United Nations arms embargo signed by
several countries and organizations. But it turned out that the
armistice was violated immediately.
Ischinger said in his remarks that German diplomatic appeals were
largely ignored.
