European Mission in Libya: The follow-up committee meeting on Libya will be co-chaired by the Arab League.

Tripoli, 23.06.2020 - Lana - The spokesman for the United Nations
Support Mission in Libya, Jean Al-Alam, said, Monday, that the next
monthly meeting of the International Follow-up Committee on Libya
will be chaired jointly by the mission and the League of Arab States,
according to what was agreed upon during the last meeting.
"Alam" added in press statements that the next committee meeting will
be held with the participation of all parties that attended the
Berlin conference, in addition to Switzerland and the Netherlands,
stressing that the meeting will discuss the latest developments in
Libya and the parties' negotiations with a view to reaching a
permanent ceasefire.
The spokesperson for the mission confirmed that they will also
discuss the implementation of the outputs of the Berlin conference
and ways to move forward, including support for the UN mission and
the Libyan parties in their ongoing negotiations within the framework
of the joint Military Committee 'JMC' 5 + 5, with the aim of reaching
a permanent ceasefire.
