A French-German consensus to solve the Libyan crisis politically, not militarily.

Berlin, 23.06.2020 - Lana - The German Foreign Ministry confirmed
that German Foreign Minister Haikou Maas and his French counterpart,
Jean-Yves Le Drian, agreed that negotiations in Libya should be
directed within the context of the "5 + 5" talks.
"Haikou Maas and Le Drian agreed to direct negotiations in the
context of the 5 + 5 talks," said the German Information Center of
the German Foreign Ministry.
To do this, the center added, it is necessary for the intervention
and armament from outside to cease as soon as possible and for the
Libyan people to finally be able to decide their own future - in a
sovereign and peaceful country at the regional level.
The German Foreign Minister and his French counterpart reaffirmed
their need for the solution in Libya to be political, not military,
according to what the German Media Center published on its official
page on Facebook on Monday.
