Tunisian Foreign Minister: Our historical ties and strategic interests make us stand with our Libyan brothers.

  Tunisia, 13.06.2020 - Lana - Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, 
Noureddine El-Rai revealed that his country has prepared proposals 
and initiatives on the crisis in Libya for submission to the UN 
Security Council.
"El-Rai" confirmed on the sidelines of a hearing in the Tunisian 
parliament, Thursday, that his country seeks to exert all efforts to 
find a permanent Libyan political solution away from external 
interventions, in a manner that preserves the unity and security of 
the people of Libya, which Tunisia regards as its national security.
The Tunisian Foreign Minister stressed that the Libyan file is a 
priority for both, the president and the government, for several 
considerations, the most important of which are the strategic 
relations with Libya, the historical ties and Tunisia's cultural and 
economic interests.
