Moscow, 11.06.2020 - Lana - Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel stressed that there are no alternatives to a ceasefire and the start of UN-sponsored negotiations as soon as possible in Libya. A statement issued by the Russian presidency after the phone conversation said, that "Putin" and "Merkel" expressed their concern about the intensification of violence in Libya, Russia Today channel reported. The statement added that the two sides confirmed that there is no alternative to a ceasefire as soon as possible and start negotiations between the Libyans under the auspices of the United Nations. =Lana=
