The Turkish presidency said in a statement: "During the phone
conversations that took place Wednesday, Erdogan and Putin discussed
the situation in Libya and Idlib, as well as regional issues.
The Kremlin announced in a statement issued later, that Putin and
Erdogan discussed in detail the situation in Libya, and expressed
their deep concern over the continuation of the large-scale clashes
in the country, which have caused victims and destruction.
The statement added: "The Russian President indicated the importance
of the ceasefire in Libya and the resumption of dialogue between the
Libyans as soon as possible, based on the decisions of the Berlin
International Conference, which been approved by the UN Security
Council in its Resolution No. 2510, and other international
initiatives aimed at reaching A diplomatic and political settlement
of the Libyan conflict.
