Italy's Ambassador to Libya visits the National Center for Disease Control and meets its Director General.

Tripoli, 08.05.2020 - Lana- Italy's Ambassador to Libya visited Sunday the National Center for Disease Control to see the steps taken to tackle the Corona pandemic. The Director General of the National Center for Disease Control Dr. Badr Al-Din Al-Najjar reviewed with the Italian Ambassador the mechanism of the center's work and the precautionary measures taken to confront the pandemic. Al-Najjar discussed with the ambassador the health situation in the country after registering an increase in cases of corona virus infection, especially in southern Libya, and the steps taken by the National Center for Disease Control to monitor and track contact cases. The meeting, which was attended by the Director of the Technical Cooperation Office at the Center, Dr. "Abeer Al-Bukhari" also dealt with the mechanisms of work of monitoring and investigation teams, and health control offices in the outlets.
