New York, 19 May 2020 (Lana) The UN addressed a letter to the Libyan
parties to conflict on the need to stop fighting, silencing the guns
and resuming political talks.
The message came through the UN Secretary General spokesperson at a
press conference at the UN.
Answering a question on the role of the UN regarding the Libyan
crisis, he said, 'our message to all parties is still the same that
is stop violence, silence the guns and resume the political process.'
He explained that Libya is the most weakest state where civilians and
refugees suffer attacks on civilian, health care and infrastructure.
