Ministry of Finance: January and February salaries still on halt despite availability of resources with Ministry of Finance.

Abumattari has said the financial arrangements for 2020 should be met
with collaboration of all institutions concerned, especially
concerning other policies related to the macro-economy such as
monetary and commercial policies.
Abumattari pointed out to World Bank indicators reffered to in
its report which forecasted a growth of 5.5 percent for libyan
national economy, but what happened now is a decline, asserting that
all positive indicators in 2018 are now reversing.
He said all reforms are not completed due to shortcomings in key
monetary polices, inflation control and currency value which are all
competencies of Central Bank of Libya.
The Minister said the ministry is facing problems in
consultations, coordination's and arrangements despite the fact that
state financial law provides for government expenditure through the
latest budget, known as 1 over 12.
