Pulbished on:
Tripoli, 29 December 2019(Lana) Chairman of the Board of the National Oil Company Mustafa Sun'allah has warned against fighting spreading to the Al Zawiyah refinery. Reports Friday confirmed a site near a reservoir operated by the Al Zawiyah Refinery was hit by a rocket BUT NO ONE WAS INJURED. Sun'allah said targeting Al Zawiyah Refinery was a war crime, explaining that vital installations including hospitals, energy and desalination plants would be deprived of fuel, and there would be a need to import more fuel which will cost the treasury hundreds of millions of dollars. He stressed that 'repetition of such careless actions will cause human and material losses, indicating that it was the second assault near the oil installations in Al Zawiyah in 24 hours. The NOC renewed a call for all warring parties to avoid its facilities, and not to mess with the Libyans sole source of income. =Lana=
