CBL Governor Participates in Arab Maghreb Governors Meeting.

Tripoli, 27 October 2019(Lana) The Governor of the Central Bank
of Libya Al Sidiq Al Kabir has taken part in the annual meeting of
Arab Maghreb Governors of Central Banks, which also included Tunisia,
Algeria, Morocco and Mauritania.
The meeting, which is held on the sidelines of meetings of the
World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, reviewed common work
among Maghreb banks and exchange of expertise.
The Governors discussed inclusivity, monetary policies, Islamic
banking and protecting banking policies of member states.
In November last year, Al Kabir took part in the in the eighth
meeting of Arab Maghreb Governors of Central Banks, which was held in
Tunisia, to promote common cooperation, and to put in place a
mechanism for fighting money-laundering and terrorism financing.
