German ambassador at Libya: Berlin conducts talks to hold an international conference about Libya.

Berlin, 12.09.2019 - Lana - The German ambassador at Libya "Oliver
Owcza" said , that Berlin is making efforts to organize an
international conference about Libya before the end of this year, to
establish stability in the country.
In a tweet on his account on Twitter site, the ambassador said:
"Germany is concerned about the situation in Libya, and we share with
many others the need for new efforts to establish stability in
Libya".
The diplomat added, that his country had conducted talks with "the
main international partners ", as he put it , according to the UN
envoy's three steps plan 'Ghassan Salama', which he had presented to
the UN security council.
The ambassador expressed his conviction that thanks to "adequate
preparatory work", these efforts will lead to a meaningful
international event in the autumn.
