Algerian Prime Minister calls on African Union to play important role in inclusive dialogue among Libyans.

Algiers, 9 July 2019 (Lana) Algerian Prime Minister,
Nuraddeen Badwi has stated that the Libyan crisis require initiating
an inclusive dialogue to reach a consensus.
Badwi was quoted by the Algerian Press service as saying. all
necessary measures should be taken in order to start an inclusive
dialogue among Libyans to reach consensual solution to the dispute
within the frame work of respecting sovereignty and unity of Libya
without any foreign intervention'.
The Algerian prime minister considered the Libyan crisis an
African crisis . He added that in the light of this spirit it must be
strongly emphasized ' the need to make our African organization and
its committee the platform for the international efforts to escourt
the Libyans on the path to a political solution based on dialogue and
reconciliation that is bound to put an end to the suffering of the
brotherly Libyans.
In speech at the High Committee of African Union Head of States
and Government on Libya, held on the side line of the African Union
summit in Niamey Niger, Badwi called on African governments' To make
use of the current partnership between the AU and the UN within the
framework of 'solidarity and integration principle' especially in
maintaining peace and security in Africa in order to give more clear
content and effectiveness to our efforts in settling the Libyan
crisis'.
Badwi urged Libyan parties to seize the opportunity to get the
African Union by their side to reach a political solution to ensure
realizing the sole goal of organizing transparent elections under the
auspices of the African Union and the UN.
The Algerian Prime Minister said organizing elections would
contribute to establishing climate of confidence and establishing
durable democratic government institutions. He renewed Algeria's
commitment to intensify its efforts to contribute to the final
settlement of the dispute.
