Al Salak: President of Presidency Council Assigns Delegation for Southern Region.

Tripoli, 1 November 2018(Lana) The President of the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord Fayez Al Serraj has assigned a Government delegation to seek to address the crisis in the region with its all dimensions economic and security. The delegation includes the Presidency Council Deputy Abdul Salam Kajman, Council Member Ahmed Hamza and Ministers of Local Government, Social Affairs, Employment, as well as undersecretaries of Ministries of Health, Education, Transport and military and security leaderships, Al Salak said at the weekly press conference he gave at the cabinet headquarters. As for the Palermo Conference, Al Salak disclosed the main issues to be laid down for discussion by the Presidency Council which include the elections with its legislative and presidential tracks and the constitutional foundation on which elections will be based. Other key issues, according to Al Salak, include unifying of institutions and elimination of the parallel ones and continuation of security arrangements and economic reforms. As for unifying the military institution, Al Salak said the President of the Presidency Council has stressed that unifying the military institution was a strategic goal.
