Tripoli, 30 October 2018 (Lana) The Central Committee for
Municipal Elections oversee Tuesday mayor elections in Beniwaleed and
Deraj. Salem Ali Anwair was elected as mayor of Beniwaleed, whereas
Fadhel Mohamed Ahmed was elected as Darej.
The election was conducted in the presence of Local Government
Minister, Bedad Gansu, State Minister for Migration and Displaced
Affairs, Yusuf Jelala, Secretary General of the Cabinet, Taher Ammer
and members of the House of Representatives for Al Haraba and
Beniwaleed, Ali Al Issawi and Hassan Al barghautti.
