is to brief later today Monday the UN Security Council on special
hearing on Libya.
He is expected to brief the Security Council on the latest
developments of the political process and the situation in Libya
after the oil crescent crisis and end of consultative sessions of the
Libyan national forum held by UNSMIL in 43 cities with the
participation of 7000 Libyans before the still awaited for the Main
assembly, one of the points in Salam's road map.
Salam's last briefing to the UN Security Council was on May 21 in
which he focused on Libyan elections and the timetable for it.
