Deputy President Ahmed Amitiq makes tour of AlAndalus district.

Council, Ahmed Amitiq accompanied by the mayor made a tour of
several areas of AlAndalus district. The tour covered a public arena
which was proposed as making it a public park, and establishing a
monument bearing the names of martyrs of HNEC explosion.
he also visited Ghutt AlShaal club where he was welcomed by
president of the club and several players who highlighted the
importance of the club for the local population since it was opened
in 1985, and called for the significance of supporting the club to
enhance youth potentials.
Amitiq also visited the administrative building of the
municipality which offer services to 360,000 people with limited
resources.
Amitiq accompanied by the mayor inspected the sea front and saw
efforts made to clean the coast and steps taken to pave the sea road
extended along 9 kilometers. The Engineers explained the damages
caused to the sea by untreated sewage water after failure of the
sewage treatment plant.
Amitiq praised the efforts made by municipality officials,
stressing the importance of Al Andalus district being the western
gate of Tripoli.
