Memo for Protection of Cultural and Antiquities Property to be Signed by US and Libya.

New York, 22 February 2018(Lana) The US State Department has
announced that a memorandum of understanding would be signed by the
United States and Libya at the Minister's headquarters here on
Friday. The Memo is regarding protecting cultural and antiquity
property.
The memo, which will be signed by the US Deputy Secretary of
State Stephen Goldstein and the Libyan Undersecretary for Foreign
Affairs Lutfi Al Mogherbi, comes as part of cooperation between the
United States and the Government of National Accord to protect
cultural property and antiquities from smuggling and trading.
