President of Presidency Council receives congratulation cable from Algerian President at anniversary of Maghreb Union.

Tripoli, 19 February 2018 (Lana) President of Presidency Council, Fayez Al Sarraj has received a congratulation cable from Algerian President, Abdulaziz Bautafliq, on the 29 th anniversary of the Maghreb Union coinciding with 17 February. The Algerian President stressed in the cable his country's commitment to the Maghreb Union being a strategic option and public advocacy, reaffirming Algeria interest to revitalize its institutions to respond to the aspirations of the Maghreb people for further unity, integration and merger. Bautafliqa expressed in his cable his hope that Libyan people realize development and prosperity under security and stability. he called for recalling whatever ties , brotherhood, good neighborhood that bring the Maghreb people together. he said the occasion requires contemplation in the march of the union with a view to review and develop the whole existing work methodology, so that the Maghreb Union becomes an effective gathering with leverage in its regional and international surroundings. =Lana=
