Tripoli Health Services: Private Clinics Closed for Failing Professional Standards and Health Guidelines.
Pulbished on:
Tripoli, 11 February 2018(Lana) The Head of Private Sector of the
Tripoli Health Services Besma Al Sheif has announced that a number of
Libyan-foreign joint venture private clinics have been closed after
an inspection tour has revealed that they did not meet standards of
the profession.
Al Sharif said the closure was dictated by the failure of these
clinics to meet the technical standards imposed by health
authorities.
Among the violations cited by the authorities the existence of
expired drugs, lab materials and other medical supplies inside
intensive care units, and failure to register with proper Government
bodies such as the Ministry of Economy and the Investment Board.
