Presidency Council issues resolution amending some custom tariffs.

Tripoli, 11 February 2018 (Lana) The Presidency Council of the GBNA issued Saturday Resolution 379/2018 amending categories of custom tariffs of some goods. The Resolution maintained custom tariffs of essential food staff such as flour, tomato paste, sugar, rice, macaroni, tuna, wheat and children food at 0%. The resolution put the custom tariffs of mother &child material, dairy products, live stock and meat, frozen fish and chicken at 30%. The same rate was also applied to medicine, medical supplies, forage, fertilizers, agrarian equipment, stationeries, clothes and shoes. The tariff for other food stuff was at 40%, whereas the rate for detergents, electrical and house appliances, tires and vehicle spare parts 50%. =Lana=
