President of Presidency Council meets High Court President.

Council, Fayez Al sarraj met Sunday with President of the High Court
Justice Mohamed Al Haffi in line with the need for coordination
between the three authorities, the legislative, executive and
judicial, according to the Media office of the presidency council.
The meeting covered latest development of the situation and ways
to support the judicial body and provide all necessary means so
judicial authority carry out its tasks in upholding justice, equality
and protection of public liberties with due independence without
political polarization.
Al Sarraj has praised the coherence of the judiciary institution,
working as one body in the country, highlighting the importance that
judicial cadres be formed inorrder to play their fundamental role.
Al sarrj was quoted by the Presidency media office as saying;
'The democratic system to which the Libyan people are longing is
based on the separation of powers and that it cannot stand without an
independence judiciary'. He praised the honorable history of the
Libyan judiciary and upholding the principle of independence in spite
of challenges and crisis since the country's independence to today.
