Libyan embassy dismisses media reports of Libyan-Italian political crisis.

Rome, 7 February 2018 (Lana) Libyan embassy in Italy dismissed
media reports purporting political crisis between Libya and Italy due
to what described as diplomatic mission manipulation of Libyan
Ministry of Defense accounts at UniCredit bank.
The Libyan mission to Italy in a start net released Tuesday - a
copy of which was received by Lana- said the media reports are
baseless and lack the basic principles of journalistic work, let
alone the damages that could cause to Libyan state interests.
The embassy reaffirmed compliance with the administrative and
professional rules in managing the mission's affairs according to the
rules and instruction of the GNA via the foreign ministry.
It said the accounts of the military attachment at the embassy is
under control of the financial controller of the embassy. It urged
the media to be professional in their pursuit of information and
verify their reports and called on them to refute the story. It said
it reserved the right to seek justice through the legal authorities
in order to preserve Libyan state interests.
