Al Serraj Denounces Attempt to Undermine Conciliation Between Misrata and Tauergha.

Tripoli, 5 February 2018(Lana) The President of the Presidency
Council of the Government of National Accord Fayez Al Serraj
condemned what he called attempts to undermine reconciliation between
Misrata and Tauergha.
In a statement he issued Al Serraj denounced attempts by some
groups to obstruct return of Tuergha displaced to their homes
describing them as yet another violation added to previous breaches
aimed at keeping the country divided and a hostage to anarchy.
'Our efforts to execute the conciliation agreement between the
residents of the two cities were going on over the last two years and
will continue, and we will now cave in to any pressures by whosoever.
He praised the efforts of the local councils of Misrata and
Tauergha, the reconciliation committees and elders of the two cities
who worked hard to ensure the return of the residents.
All state capabilities will be used to overcome all obstacles to
reconciliation, Al Serraj said, urging everyone to shoulder their
responsibilities.
The return of Tauergha displaced to their city will signal a
return of all other internally or externally displaced to their
homes, he said.
