Second Migration Transit Country conference to be held in Rome.

Rome, 5 February 2018 (Lana) The Italian Foreign Ministry has
announced that the Second Migration Transit Country conference is to
be held in Rome on Tuesday.
'The second ministerial conference on migration transit countries
are to convene at the initiative of Italian Foreign Minister,
Angelino Alfano themed; 'Common responsibility to realize a common
objective: solidarity and security', Italian Foreign Ministry
statement said.
'Libya, Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Malta,
Niger, Holland, Spain, Sudan, and Tunisia are to take part in the
conference besides the EU High Representative for External and
Political Affairs, Director General of Organization of International
Migration, Secretary General for Security and Cooperation in Europe
and Bulgarian rotational Presidency of the EU Council represented by
the Bulgarian Foreign Minister, the statement explained.
The conference intends to follow up on the new track of dialogue,
which first conference was held in Rome last July based on enhanced
partnership among European countries and African transit countries
for integrated management of migration capable of combining the two
principles of solidarity and security.
