EU Expresses Solidarity With Victims of Twin Blast in Benghazi.

Brussels, 25 January 2018(Lana) The European Union has expressed its solidarity with the families of victims of the twin blast which targeted worshippers at a mosque in the Libyan city of Benghazi on Tuesday. These attacks cause huge losses and threaten the ongoing effort to restore security and stability and the rule of law in Libya, the EU official spokesman said. The EU renewed its support for the UN mediation led by the Special Envoy to Libya Ghasan Salama. The blasts caused by booby-trapped cars went off 30 minutes apart as worshippers were emerging from the 'Bayet Al Ridhwan' mosque on Tuesday evening in Al Salmani quarter of Benghazi. 41 were killed and wounded nearly 80. =Lana=
