Load-shedding Hours in East Libya to be Increased.
Pulbished on:
Benghazi, 27 December 2017(Lana) The Electricity Company has
announced that it was increasing load-shedding hours in eastern
Libyan region to 6 hours a day.
Due to the halt of diesel fuel to generation plants in the
region and the limited gas supplies, the shortfall in electricity
generation in the eastern region from Al Breiga to Tobruk will be
around 400 megawatts, the Company said in a statement.
The load-shedding will remain in place until the fuel supply to
generation plants improves, the Company said.
