Saila meets Russian Foreign Minister.

Moscow, 12 December 2017 (Lana) Foreign Minister, Mohamed Saila
met Tuesday in Moscow with Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrev,
who renewed his country's support to the GNA and the political
process based on Sukhirat accord to speed up the remedial measures to
the Libyan crisis.
Laverev underlined the need to resume political dialogue among
all parties in Libya and engage civil society to speed up a solution
through consensus among the Libyans.
The meeting also addressed the return of the Russian embassy to
operate from Tripoli and prepare for the return of Russian companies
to finalize their contracted projects in Libya besides exchange of
official and businessmen visits.
Cooperation in trade, energy, industry and transport and return
of Russian companies to contribute to reconstruction in Libya were
also discussed.
Sailia is accompanied in this visit by a delegation comprising
chairman of Electricity Company, Rail Ways chairman, Presidential
Guard commander and director of technical cooperation at the foreign
ministry.
