Arab Foreign Ministers Demand America Reconsider Recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's Capital.

Cairo, 10 December 2017(Lana) Arab Foreign Ministers have
demanded that the United States reconsider its decision to recognize
Jerusalem as the capital of so called Israel, and to join the
international call for a return of Palestinian land occupied in the
1967 war.
In a communiqué issued following a meeting Arab Ministers held in
Cairo, they said the US measures 'undermine peace efforts, stoke up
anger and tension, and push the region towards further violence,
disturbance and instability.
According to the communiqué, the Ministers condemned the US move
which they said null and void and legitimize occupation and yet a
violation of international law.
The Communiqué described Trump's decision as 'a dangerous
development which has put the US on the side of the occupation and in
violation of the international resolutions, and thus alienated itself
as a sponsor of the peace process.
The Ministers stressed that East Jerusalem is the capital of the
Palestinian State, and that peace and stability in the region would
not be established unless a free and sovereign state for Palestine
was established on the basis of the 4th June borders and in
accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative.
