President of Presidency Council Meets National Team and EU Border Security Mission.

Tripoli, 27 November 2017(Lana) The President of the Presidency Council Fayez Al Serraj held a meeting at the Council headquarters here to address issues of border security in accordance with the study made by the National Team for Security and Management of Borders in collaboration with the EU Border Assistance Mission. The meeting was attended by the Head of the EU Mission Venessero Talferi and the Chairman of the National Team Abdul Naser Al Sughayer, as well as the Head of Border Management Team of the European Mission Borgen Kleiberg and members of the teams. The President of the Presidency Council said our goal is to protect Libya's sovereignty and stability, and we will continue to work to secure our borders. The Head of the Libyan team Dr. Al Sughayer explained the Libyan approach to 'an integrated border secrity' and combat of trans-border crimes and illegal migration. The Head of the European Mission said what has been done so far is pure Libyan effort, and work needed more time to finish given the vast space Libya occupies. =Lana=
