Press Promotion Body celebrates Press Freedom Day.

Tripoli, 1 June 2017 (Lana) Press Promotion Body marked Wednesday
World Press Freedom Day. The theme of the celebration was 'Together
for the same word'.
The head of the administrative committee of the body made a
speech in which he praised the journalists, stressing that press
freedom is the caliber for the degree of freedom enjoyed by people
and the press is the link in chain between the decision makers and
the people. he stressed that the task of the media men is to lit the
torch to bring back hope.
The celebration included songs and music and ended up with
honouring of several journalists and media men. They also displayed
books and newspapers published Press Promotion and Support Board.
The celebration was attended by President of High State Council,
Head of Tourism Board, Member of Steering Committee of Cultural
Board, Head of Press Promotion and Support Board, Advisor to Services
Affairs at Deputy of Presidency Council Office, pressmen, media men,
writers and artists.
