Governor of Central Bank of Libya: All state institutions should shoulder responsibility and consequences of financial crisis.

    Tripoli, 23 April 2017 (Lana)  Governor of the Central Bank of 
Libya, Al-Sadeeq Al-Kabier, said the country is experiencing a 
financial  crisis  and all state institutions should shoulder their 
legitimate and national responsibilities based on their specialties 
and mandate.
    The governor explained at a press conference;  Sunday   that we 
should not  blame all responsibilities on one party which the Central
Bank of Libya, which has not been mandated a leadership role enabling
it to draw state public policies.
    He said the legislator  was anxious  to make the Central Bank  of
Libya an independent  institutions to protect it from disputes and 
interventions, however.  the bank is still filling the vacuum and 
made it incumbent by public interest to lift the hardships of the 
Libyan citizens.
    Al-Kabier said the Central Bank of Libya as an institution 
preserved its presence, cohesion, neutrality, performance and respect
at international level, and follows up and interacts and assesses 
work of this institution to safeguard our assets from freezing.
