Head of Culture Authority Meets President of British Council to Discuss Cultural Exchange.

Tripoli, 19 April 2017(Lana) The Head of the steering Committee
of the General Culture Authority Hasan Ounayes and the Director of
the British Council in Tripoli Tony Cadelerbank discussed upgrading
cultural exchange between Libya and the United Kingdom.
The meeting dealt with various topics including training,
especially using the British expertise in the area of antiquities,
whereby the two sides agreed to conduct workshops and cultural events
to promote cultural activities and capacity among the youth.
The meeting which was held at the Antiquities Authority
headquarters here was attended by the Head of the Antiquities office
in Tripoli and the deputy Director of the British Council in Tripoli.
