Al Serraj Underlines GNA Responsibility to Alleviate Suffering of Citizens.

Tripoli, 16 April 2017(Lana) The President of the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord Fayez Al Serraj explained how delicate the period in which Libya is going through, and the responsibility pinned of the Government of National Accord in easing the suffering on the ordinary citizens. In remarks at the third meeting the Council holds this year, Al Serraj said the Council was considering effective measures to resolve the problem of liquidity in banks, and to address the dwindling fall in the value of the Libyan dinar versus other currencies. The meeting dealt with the developments in the Libya, and a review of the decisions that have been taken since the last two meetings. The meeting also addressed the bottlenecks regarding the issue of liquidity and other economic topics including fuel smuggling and the measures the have been taken so far to activate the Price Balancing Fund to provide basic consumer goods before the month of Ramadan. The Council adopted a number of decisions to assist the displaced people, allocated financial amounts to the displaced and humanitarian purposes. =Lana=
