In the weekly press conference in Tripoli, Al Tulti said the Fortified Structure forces were carrying out the task of removing mines and retrieving bodies of Da'esh fighters from the battle ground. The spokesman said an announcement on the liberation of Sirte was expected shortly, indicating that there was a coordination between the GNA and the Structure forces on this matter. As for the events in the oil crescent Al Tulti said the Presidency Council had reaffirmed in a statement its position of no escalation in the sensitive area which constitutes the life line of all Libyans, stressing the need for avoiding political wrangling and action that might endanger national security.
