In the final communiqué issued at the end of sessions, the Summit
urged the House of Representatives to live up to its obligations, in
accordance with the political agreement.
Final documents were ratified at the end of the summit which was
held in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. They included the Malabo
Declaration, a Declaration on Palestine as well as the decisions of
the 4th Arab African Summit.
The Summit discussed a number of draft documents and reports
forwarded by the Arab League and the African Union, and adopted a
separate key declaration on Arab-African solidarity with the
Palestinian people's unalienable rights.
The Summit also discussed a joint report by the Secretary General
of the Arab League and the Chairwoman of the African Commission, on
cooperation between the two sides in the last three years following
the Kuwait Summit in 2013, as well as an opinion on tackling the
challenges facing an upgrade of joint Arab African cooperation.
