British ambassador to Libya calls for averting fighting at Zawitina oil port.

Tripoli, 08.08.2016 (Lana) The British ambassador to Libya Peter
Mellet called for averting Zawitina oil port fighting between the
belligerent parties to save the port's destruction.
Media outlets quoted the UK ambassador as supporting Chairman of
the National Oil Corporation calls on statement Sunday in which he
called on both parties to refrain from such acts that could harm the
port's infrastructure such as using oil installation as shields or
bobby-trapping or mining them.
Chairman of the NOC called on both sides to provide the NOC a
safe passage now before beginning any operations to transfer oil
stocks to a safe port, hoping the prevention of a conflict, to save
lives and avert long term, destruction.
