UN: Libya's Stockpile of Vital Drugs is About to Run Out.

Tripoli, 24 February 2016(Lana) The UN Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator in Libya Ali Al Za'tari has announced that nearly a million person in Libya would soon become in a dire need for assistance, because of acute shortage of life-saving drugs. 'Our estimate is that by the end of March all life-saving drugs in Libya would run out, which would impact nearly a million people, Al Za'tari said at a press conference on Tuesday. Tripoli, 24 February 2016(Lana) The NSG Ministry of Foreign and international Cooperation has issued a statement on the bloody events in the cities of Benghazi and Ajdabiya, which it described as unjustified acts of hostility, that would further deepen the crisis and lead to more bloodshed. CBL Urges Commercial Banks to Comply With Letter of Credit Decision.

Tripoli, 24 February 2016(Lana) The Central Bank of Libya CBL has addressed letters to the CEOs of commercial banks, and the Director General of the Libyan Foreign Bank urging them to comply with the CBL instructions on referring of customers requests of cover approval through letter credit e transaction network. The letters came as the CBL noticed that banks delay referring of customer cover requests through the network.
